• Special Emporia State University Savings and benefits are in place for all persons having an affiliation of any type with the University (past or present)

Feature Travel

For travelers preferring one-of-a-kind value-added personally escorted group experiences that are

all-inclusively priced and contain special features not normally present in other programs.          

• Group members can sit back and let someone else take care of all arrangements and details of travel, while enjoying the comforts and camaraderie of traveling with a small group of individuals having similar interests. Clicking here will take you to the current issue of Please Go Away™ Vacations monthly electronic magazine - The TRAVELzine.  This magazine will provide information on these opportunities and detailed four-page brochures will open when indicated links for different departures are clicked.
• Departures are an intentionally limited number of select all-inclusively priced one-of-a-kind travel experiences throughout North America and the rest of the world that include many "features" of experiences and events most often not found included in other programs.  These "features" include things like meeting the locals, ethnic dining experiences, special educational inclusions, behind-the-scenes insight opportunities, etc. 
• Additionally, among these "features" is all-inclusive pricing - the price shown on the brochure "includes" everything referenced in the brochure.  This removes the hidden charges and requirements most normally present in other programs.
• You also benefit from unmatched personal service before, during and after your travels.  A personal escort is with you throughout and "takes" you instead of just "sending" you as most other programs do.   
• Travel protection is always provided through the completion of the experience as part of the multiple included "features." 
• Roundtrip airfare is included, as is much more. 
• Each brochure is different.  Check for detailed descriptions of "features" that are included in the "all-inclusive" pricing found in each brochure.  Comparing with programs offered by others is urged.
• If the brochure you open has a PYIP - PUT YOURSELF POSITION logo displayed it means that the final details of the experience are still being negotiated and that a finalized brochure will soon replace the brochure you are reviewing.  
• This unique PYIP program allows you to create a "right of first refusal" for a totally refundable $100.00 per person holding deposit.  When this is done you will be the first to be provided the finalized brochure for your thorough review.  At that time you can "refuse" and your holding deposit will be promptly refunded to you via check for the full amount.  Or, if you accept you can then finalize your reservation by forwarding the total amount of normal reservation deposit "less" the amount of the holding deposit previously paid.
• This program is extremely important in today's travel world where demand often quickly exceeds supply of available spaces and where our travel coordinator must contract for spaces as much as two years or more in advance at a time when finalized pricing is often not in place.
