The Globus Family of Brands, the World’s #1 tour operator conglomerate, has again selected Please Go Away™ Vacations to be one of 5 North American travel agencies to be featured in its annual 111-page Group Vacation Planner 2008.
The publication is distributed throughout the travel industry as a guidebook and educational tool to promote and educate the thousands of sellers of travel about the worldwide travel opportunities available to groups.

In addition to describing the Family’s entire product line, the 5-featured travel agencies were selected to serve as examples of various successful group travel promotions and travel operations.

Please Go Away™ Vacations was chosen for the second year in a row because of its successful development and operation of a profitable niche market of personally hosting group travel experiences all over the world, resulting in a repeat factor of 94+%. Even though located in a small Midwestern community, Please Go Away™ Vacations has become recognized as a national leader in the group travel industry.

Marilyn Kopke, President commented, “This is an honor of which we are very proud, particularly when we realize we have been selected from among the thousands of travel organizations throughout North America. However, more important is the fact that what we have been able to accomplish results in benefits for the travelers we have the privilege of serving with their individual, custom group, family, and personally escorted travels.”

Robbi Spector, District Sales Manager for Princess Cruise Lines, has just announced that Paula Axman, Vice President of Cheyenne Travel/Please Go Away™ Vacations, has been selected to be a “Cruise Commodore” from among the travel professionals throughout North America. Commodore is the highest possible rank among ships officers. Princess has created a similar status for a few select sellers of cruises.

To qualify and be selected Paula demonstrated a superior “hands on” knowledge of cruising by having personally cruised on many of Princess’ cruise itineraries throughout the world; and she had to completean extensive 6-month course of product and service education. A minimum of 25 separate and intensive classes were taken, tested on, and successfully passed.  In addition, a comprehensive and extensive final examination also had to be taken and successfully passed.

In recognition of her outstanding achievement, and in addition to the rank of “Cruise Commodore”, she was awarded a free cruise for two to anywhere in the world Princess sails. Princess cruises to more ports of call throughout the world than any other cruise line.

Marilyn Kopke, President of Cheyenne Travel/Please Go Away™ Vacations commented, “We are extremely proud of Paula’s superior achievement. Her coveted designation places our organization on the “inside of the inner circle” of cruising and allows us to provide unmatched service and product selection to the cruising public in the areas of individual, family, group, organization and personally-hosted cruise experiences throughout the world.”
